Good afternoon, dear friends!

I have just seen that Milan Design Week 2023 will be held in Milan from 17 to 23 April 2023. I am really looking forward to next year's exhibition, as I am completing my studies at Università Iuav di Venezia and I will be in Italy on these dates. I sincerely recommend Milan Design Week to you as well. Famous brands such as JCP, Edra, A Amare, Nilufar, Alcova will be present, and of course Hermès, with whom SIO plans to work closely in the future.
Hermès is one of the most famous and oldest Parisian luxury design houses and has always been associated with high society.

Fashion in all its manifestations inspires me. It is not uncommon for design houses to start their business by designing clothes and develop their business by adding other categories of goods: shoes, cosmetics, furniture.

By choosing Hermès, you choose prestigious product categories in which the brand specializes - silk scarves, leather shoes and bags, horseback riding goods, porcelain tableware and high-quality furniture.

The most popular and legendary Hermés products are still its Kelly and Birkin bags, as well as its silk scarves.

With the development of business, furniture has also appeared in Hermès. The first collection of furniture was presented in 2011 at Salone del Mobile in Milan and was accompanied by an installation by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban.

Objects for Interior life

In 2013, the Hermés Home collection was launched under the name Les Nécessaires. The collection was created by the famous French designer Philippe Nigro.

In 2015, Hermés first introduced the Hermès en lumière home lighting collection, which was created by French designer and lighting set designer Yann Kersalé and was inspired by vintage lanterns used on ships.

In addition, the Italian architect Michele de Lucchi

created collections of floor and table lamps - Pantographe and Harnais. The collection is notable for the fact that it uses elements of horse ammunition and drawing tools.

The 2016 collection was designed by Mexican architect Mauricio Rocha, while the 2018 collection was designed by Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry.

Collections of recent years were presented at Milan Design Week. In 2022, Hermès Maison introduced wooden tables and chairs, patterned bedspreads, wicker storage boxes, trays, vases and many more items.

All Hermès collections are concise, refined and high-quality pieces of furniture that are highly appreciated all over the world. This is the kind of furniture we use in SIO projects, because it is not just an important component of the interior, furniture is all about detail and decoration.

In general, we are looking forward to Milan Design Week 2023, we want to see the latest collections of iconic brands and maybe even new-fashion designers with whom SIO could collaborate in the future.
